Experiences 9-acre corn maze and haunted corn maze nights, pumpkin patch (pumpkins by donation), zip lines, tree climbing, zombie laser tag, hayrack rides, petting barn, free campfires

Camp Fontanelle is a year-round United Methodist camp, and since 2007 the fall season has given the public a reason to visit: Split Oak Hollow, a corn maze and pumpkin patch on the camp’s wooded grounds.

The main maze spans nine acres, with a kiddie mini-maze for little legs and haunted maze nights in late October for brave ones. The rest of the camp comes along for the ride — zip lines, tree climbing, zombie laser tag, tractor-pulled hay rides, a petting barn, jumping pillows, trike tracks, pedal cars, and free campfires that make it feel like, well, camp. Pumpkins are by donation, and the concession stand does the classics: hot dogs, popcorn, s’mores kits. It’s open Saturdays and Sundays (1 to 7) from mid-September into early November, plus weekdays by reservation — always check the site or call ahead, since camp groups can shift the schedule.
