Experiences U-pick berries in summer, 3-acre pumpkin patch in fall, Lazer Mazer (laser tag in a hay bale maze), corn maze, barrel train, goat barn, animal encounters, antique tractor barn, coffee shop and eatery (The Carriage House)

Panhandle families don’t have to drive five hours east for a hayrack ride. Fanny’s Fruit Farm is a fully functioning farm complete with goats, lambs, chickens, and ducks — and it runs on two seasons. Late summer brings U-pick strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and apples; come fall the 3-acre pumpkin patch takes over.

One admission covers a long list: hayrack rides, hay bale and corn mazes, the Lazer Mazer (a game of laser tag played through a hay bale maze), a barrel train for kids, goat feeding, glitter tattoos, a haunted barn on select evenings, and the antique tractor barn. There’s also the Carriage House eatery and a coffee shop that runs year-round — one of the few pumpkin stops in western Nebraska where you can start the morning with a hot cup before boarding the wagon. Pumpkin season runs weekends only, October 3-31.
