Experiences fall potato u-pick, farm booth at the Hastings Downtown Farmers' Market

The Hoagland Homestead is a three-generation family farm near Inland where the kids are learning to grow their own food alongside their parents and grandparents. The whole operation runs without pesticides, using organic compost and chemical-free practices.

Each fall they host a potato u-pick — a genuinely unusual thing to pick yourself, and a great outing if your kids have never seen where potatoes actually come from. Through the season you’ll also find them at the Hastings Downtown Farmers’ Market with garden produce, homemade jams and jellies, and honey. Call for u-pick dates before heading out.
