Infusion’s Vanilla Bean Blonde is one of those beers Nebraskans order by name — a smooth, vanilla-kissed blonde that’s converted more than a few “I don’t like beer” drinkers. It’s the flagship of a brewery that’s been part of the Omaha scene for over a decade.
The original Benson location at 6115 Maple St has closed, so the Southwest taproom at 118th & W Center is now the home base. Same beers, same approachable lineup — the kind of brewery where the menu has something for the IPA devotee and the light-lager loyalist at the same table.
Southwest Omaha isn’t short on chain restaurants; Infusion is the local-beer answer in the neighborhood.
