Zipline led Lincoln’s modern craft wave, and the Copper Alt remains a local legend — German malts, German hops, an altbier done right in a town that took to it immediately. For years, the taproom on Magnum Circle was the default answer to “where’s good beer in Lincoln.”
Note: the brewery, taproom, and beer hall closed in June 2026; the Zipline Tap & Grill restaurant in Fallbrook remains open. We’re keeping the listing because the brand’s place in Nebraska beer history is secure — but check what’s pouring where before you plan around it.
At its peak, Zipline was the template for the modern Nebraska production brewery: clean branding, distribution across the state, and a flagship beer people ordered by name.
