Maha is Omahaβs music festival, full stop. After years at Stinson Park in Aksarben, it moved to Heartland of America Park on the downtown riverfront β and the new setting is a genuine upgrade: skyline views, the river at your back, downtown a short walk away.
The format is streamlined now: one day, one stage, no conflicts, no running between sets. The lineups punch above a festival this size β recent years have brought Wet Leg, Bright Eyes (playing Maha for the first time in 2026), Killer Mike, and a deep bench of Omaha talent. It regularly sells out.
It happens in early August, which means heat β plan accordingly. But a single-stage festival on the riverfront, with the cityβs best bands and a few genuine stars, is about as good as a summer Saturday gets.
