The Omaha Farmers Market runs two locations all season: Saturdays in the Old Market (8β12:30) and Sundays in Aksarben Village (9β1), May through October. The Saturday Old Market edition is the classic β vendors set up on the brick streets, the smell of fresh doughnuts mixes with cut flowers, and half the city seems to be there with coffee in hand.
Itβs a real working market, not a craft fair with vegetables: local growers, bakeries, meat producers, and plant sellers, plus food trucks for breakfast. The Aksarben Sunday market is bigger and more sprawling if you want the full 120-vendor experience.
Go early for the best produce and the shortest lines. Bring cash and a tote, then stay for brunch in the Old Market β youβve earned it.
