Via Farina is what happens when a serious chef decides to do pizza. Chef Paul Kulik โ James Beard-nominated โ built the menu around a wood-fired oven and a three-day dough, and the pies have the blistered, chewy crust that separates the real thing from the rest. The house-made pastas are equally strong.
The downtown location on 10th Street, near the Blue Barn Theatre, is the original and the one to visit: warm, lively, and built for date night. Thereโs a second spot in Regency out west, but the downtown room has the energy.
Order a pie and a pasta to share, get the burrata if itโs on, and donโt skip dessert. This is the Italian restaurant Omaha recommends when it wants to impress.
