Broken Arrow Cellars flies a little under the radar, which is a shame — it’s one of the few wineries holding down Nebraska’s far southwest corner. The Imperial location pours estate wines (the Bac Reserve Stock red blend has its fans) and doubles as a serious event venue: tables and chairs for 300, a full-service catered kitchen, indoor and outdoor space.
The tasting room keeps limited hours — Wednesday through Friday afternoons — so this is a plan-ahead stop, not a drop-in. But for the region, it’s the wine option: Chase County doesn’t have a deep bench, and Broken Arrow covers weddings, reunions, and weekend tastings alike.
Southwest Nebraska wine country starts here, because there’s nowhere else for it to start.
