The tasting room is shaped like an old Nebraska barn, and from the front porch the Lincoln skyline — the Capitol dome included — rises over the fields. Fourteen acres just south of Lincoln, vineyard roots back to 2004, reopened under the current name in 2017.
It’s a humbler experience than the big destination wineries: a lounge-like tasting room, rustic wood furniture, vineyard tours, and a steady calendar of live music. The wines cover reds and whites across the approachable spectrum — this is a drink-wine-here winery, not a collect-and-cellars one.
Fifteen minutes south of Lincoln, it’s the easiest wine escape in the county.
