Glacial Till started as a hobby — Mike Murman making small-batch wine in his basement for 30 years — and grew into one of Nebraska’s most interesting producers. The Palmyra vineyard is known for La Crescent whites and Chambourcin reds, but the headline now is cider: Glacial Till is Nebraska’s leading hard-cider producer.

The downtown Ashland tasting room on Silver Street brings it all together — wine, cider, live music, a full kitchen that became central during COVID and never left. It’s a modern rural tasting room that figured out the formula: good product, good food, good room.

Two stops for the price of one listing: the Palmyra vineyard for the purists, Ashland for the full experience.
