The building is the story: the 1909 Gothenburg Union Pacific depot β built to replace an 1884 original β purchased by two local couples when the railroad said sell or demolish, moved to Brady, and restored into a winery. Drinking Nebraska wine inside a genuine piece of railroad history is the kind of only-here experience the state does best.
Itβs family-friendly and food-serious: appetizers, charcuterie, pizzas (the buffalo chicken has a following), and seasonal desserts alongside the Nebraska wines. The spiced mulled wine is the cold-weather move. Hours run weekends year-round, with Thursdays added in summer.
On the Highway 30 corridor between Gothenburg and North Platte, itβs an essential stop β history you can drink in.
