Papa Moon is the Panhandle’s cider headquarters — thirteen hard ciders, plus limited editions, from a family-owned operation run by Katlyn and Leah Massey. The jalapeño hard cider is the conversation piece; the Chaider (chai-tea-infused cider) is the sleeper hit. Wine and mead round out the pour list.
The downtown Scottsbluff location at 3109 Ave B is the main taproom — full kitchen, family-friendly, the kind of room that anchors a downtown. The Farm at 230975 County Road J offers the rural tasting-room experience among the gardens.
Ten years in business and still experimenting, Papa Moon is proof the Panhandle drinks as interestingly as it landscapes.
