Josh Andreasen grew up in Lincoln spending his summers in the Scottsbluff Valley raising hay and helping his grandparents with cattle. In 2018, still in high school, he bought into the herd. After college and two years in North Dakota β where he met his wife Hannah β the couple moved to Scottsbluff to build Andreasen Angus into a direct-to-family beef operation.
The pitch is simple: grass-fed, corn-finished, hormone-free beef, raised in the panhandle and delivered straight from their farm to your table, with delivery across the state. Customer reviews keep coming back to the same things: the marbling and tenderness of the steaks, the care Josh and Hannah take in walking first-time buyers through the process, and the sheer size of the cuts.
Theyβre also unusually welcoming for a working cattle operation β visitors are invited out for brandings, to help put up hay, or just to see the country. Email or call to ask about the next available quarter, half, or whole.
