Foundation Homestead is a multi-generational homestead south of Cambridge built around Abbie Benson’s microdairy. The Barn Store is the whole show: on the fresh market side you’ll find raw cream-topped whole milk, butter, cheese, buttermilk, farm eggs, grass-fed beef, and Madamoo ice cream made on the homestead from their own fresh cream. The mercantile side carries their signature candles, Papa J’s seasonings, tallow and cow-milk soap, and handmade goods from local artisans.
Hours are limited, so plan ahead: Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5–7, and the first Saturday of each month from 9:30–12:30, plus occasional special events announced on their Facebook and Instagram.
