Rusty and Dixi Wellman run a diversified little farm outside Waverly β Wagyu cattle, farm-fresh eggs, even Vizsla hunting dogs β but the beef is the headline: Fullblood Wagyu, the 100-percent kind, which they sum up as βalways above prime.β They sell quarters, halves, and wholes direct, and buyers choose their own cuts.
Itβs a working family operation, not a luxury brand with a ranch attached: both parents work full-time jobs, the kids show cattle in 4-H, and the family has fundraised to put local beef into school lunches. Wagyu with that kind of grounding is rarer than it should be.
